| A local lad who has played as a striker most of his career, however, during the 2005/06 season was asked to play at left-back in an emergency and has now made that spot his own. Uses his experience as a forward to great use when passing the ball forward or reading the game as a defender. Predominantly left-footed he strikes a good ball and until recently was our penalty taker. Had a spell at Eastbourne Borough but work commitments meant he could not devote the time necessary at that level to do the travelling up and down the country. As with Wayne, Borough’s loss is our gain. Another good club man who helps out with the younger players in the club and they can only benefit from his knowledge as he now coaches the U18 County Youth squad. |
